At Rockhampton Leagues Club, we believe strong communities are built on shared support, passion, and opportunity. That’s why we’re proud to stand behind the organisations, clubs, and causes that make a real difference across our region.
This year, our commitment to giving back has seen us contribute so far, an additional $140,000 to local sport and community initiatives helping improve facilities, nurture young talent, and strengthen vital services that support us all. These contributions are not limited to our annual giving to the likes of CQ Capras, Secondary and Primary Rugby League and Rockhampton Senior/Junior & Mini-Mod Rugby League any many more.
Here’s a look at some of the contributions we’ve made so far in 2025:
Lighting Up Local Footy
We proudly contributed $44,000 towards a lighting upgrade for the Rockhampton Brothers Rugby League Club, ensuring safer and more accessible night games and training sessions for players of all ages.
Supporting Grassroots Clubs
The Yeppoon Seagulls Rugby League Club received $8,000 to upgrade their field mower – helping volunteers keep the grounds in top condition for training and game days.
Investing in School Sport
As a Gold Sponsor of the Secondary Schools Confraternity Carnival, we donated $12,500 to support one of Queensland’s most prestigious rugby league tournaments, giving students from across the state a platform to shine.
Helping Our Emergency Services
We were pleased to provide $1,000 to the Gracemere SES, supporting the volunteers who selflessly give their time to keep our community safe during times of need.
Building the Future of the Game
In partnership with the Redcliffe Dolphins, we committed $50,000 towards funding a Game Development Manager – a dedicated role to help foster junior development and community engagement across our region.
Kitting Out the Next Generation
Every year, we contribute $14,700 towards jerseys and shorts for local primary school rugby league teams, ensuring young players can take the field with pride and unity.
QLD State Schools Cup Support
We proudly contributed $10,000 as a sponsor to the Queensland State Schools Cup, helping provide students across the state with access to a high-quality and competitive sporting experience.
